Benefits for our pregnant members

With Medicaid you get full pregnancy health care coverage with benefits like:

We want you and your baby to be healthy and happy. With Medicaid, you can visit your OB-GYN as many times as you need at no cost to you. Be sure to see your provider early. This helps keep you and your baby healthy.

Need to find an OB/GYN near you? You can explore and find in-network providers easily using our Find a Provider tool. We can also help you find a provider over the phone, just call us at 1-866-595-8133 (TTY: 711), Monday through Friday, 7a.m. to 7p.m.

Need a ride to your next appointment? Call 1-855-369-3723, Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or schedule your ride online at least 48 hours before your medical appointment.

Important: All pregnant members should choose a pediatrician for their baby before the baby is born. If you do not choose a pediatrician before your baby is 14 days old, we will choose one for you.

According to the CDC, breastfeeding is the best source of nutrition for most infants. It can also reduce the risk for certain health conditions for both infants and mothers.

An electric breast pump is a Medicaid covered benefit for all members who choose to breastfeed. Your provider can write you a prescription for your breast pump. You can also order your breast pump online at no cost to you through Aeroflow or Tenderheart. Or talk to your OB-GYN about ordering your breast pump.

For pregnant members, medications are covered at no cost. This means that you do not pay a copay when you pickup your prescriptions.

Note: You must fill out a member Notification of Pregnancy to be eligible for no copays.
