Louisiana Healthcare Connections is sharing a recent publication on Brief Emotional/Behavioral Assessment (IB 24-26) coverage addition to the CPT schedule.

Effective July 12, 2024, Louisiana Medicaid coverage of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Brief Emotional/Behavioral Assessment code 96127 was added as a covered service.

Louisiana Healthcare Connections is updating our systems and will automatically recycle claims. Claims previously submitted will be systematically adjusted to ensure proper payment. No action is required by the provider.
