2021-03: LDH Announces Changes to Medicaid Dental Program Effective January 1, 2021

Louisiana Healthcare Connections would like to inform providers about recent changes the Louisiana Department of Health made to the Medicaid Dental Program, effective January 1, 2021.

LDH has contracted with DentaQuest USA Insurance Company, Inc. and MCNA Insurance Company d/b/a MCNA Dental Plans to provide Medicaid dental benefits and services to eligible children and adults in Louisiana.

LDH issued a memo providing contacts for each dental benefit program manager. Also detailed in the memo are answers to frequently asked questions and information around E-MEVS system and additional resources regarding implementation.
