Who doesn't love a good discount? Medicaid recipients can now get an Amazon Prime membership for half the price.
That’s right! If you are on Medicaid, you can get your Prime membership for only $6.99 a month. This means you can enjoy all the benefits of Amazon Prime, including free two-day shipping, for a fraction of the cost.
Amazon is a go-to destination for people who want to buy everything from books to household goods. With an Amazon Prime membership, you can buy all sorts of things online and get them delivered to your door fast.
Who qualifies for the discount?
You qualify for the discount if you receive SNAP, Medicaid, or other qualifying government assistance.
To get the discount, upload an image of your eligibility letter or card for one of the following:
- Medicaid: Upload image of your Medicaid eligibility letter
- SNAP: Enter your EBT number and upload an image of the EBT card
- SSI: Supplemental Security Income (this is different from Social Security and SSDI)
- Direct Express Prepaid Debit Card: Upload image of your card
- TANF: Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
- TTANF: Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
- NSLP: National School Lunch Program (letter must include your child's name and the school’s name)
- LIHEAP: Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program
- WIC: Women, Infants, and Children program
