Network Data Adequacy Project Announcement

Ensuring our members have access to quality healthcare is a top priority for Louisiana Healthcare Connections. Network adequacy is a crucial aspect of achieving this goal.

Louisiana Healthcare Connections, along with the other Managed Care Organizations at the request of the Louisiana Department of Health, will be conducting a new six-month project to improve the accuracy of network data. This will allow us to identify potential gaps in our network and ensure members have the services they need.

Through this project, our goals are to:

  • Eliminate outdated or inaccurate data from network reports.
  • Gain a clear understanding of Louisiana Healthcare Connections' network adequacy and potential gaps. 
  • Facilitate collaboration with LDH in addressing network deficiencies.
  • Improve provider directory accuracy for member convenience.

By working together on this project, Louisiana Healthcare Connections and LDH can improve network adequacy data, ensuring better access to healthcare services for our members.
