ABA Claims Issue Identified; Impacted Claims to be Automatically Recycled

Louisiana Healthcare Connections has identified an issue with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) authorizations that may have caused some ABA claims to inadvertently deny with codes EXA1 and/or EXhf.

We will recycle any impacted claims within the next 15 calendar days to correct the issue and process the authorized claims appropriately. No action is required by ABA providers, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
